Is it AC or DC control power? Assuming the fuse is removed/replaced while the breaker is racked out, the only thing you’re really protecting personnel from is control power… or human error.

With development of NISP-EN-04, EPRI’s Digital Engineering Guide, Appendix D to NEI 96-07, and Revision 2 to DI&C-ISG-06, the nuclear industry has acknowledged that a digital transition is inevitable and created pathways and guidance to standardize that process. I agree nuclear is still generally skeptical of digital and many of these new pathways have yet to be fully fleshed out, but I expect that digital upgrades will become more and more commonplace and the evaluations and documentation will start to become more streamlined as a result.

Good question. Does your downstream load have a design function? Will the temporary power be relied upon to accomplish that design function? Will the temporary power be in place longer than 90 days? Since the maintenance in question is on the upstream bus, I would hesitate to go the Maintenance Rule testing (10FCR50.65) route for the downstream load. I assume there’s a good reason temporary power is brought in instead of just leaving it deenergized.

Did France finally build enough plants on the border to support the base load? I bet they raise their prices when the last of Germany’s plants go offline.

Yes it is. There are a few versions. I like the one in my office because I colored it myself. Haha.

I don’t see your links (embedded or otherwise). They’re just big empty unclickable spaces.

I’m thinking folks are likely going to want to use screenshots or sketches from their PC. Is there any support for uploading local files? Or is storage space an issue?

Looks like I picked the wrong profession.
