Become indispensable at work

They say there’s no such thing as an indispensable man. There’s even a poem about this. It is titled “There Is No Indispensable Man.” You can read it by clicking this link:

One of my first bosses in the nuclear industry told me about the hand-in-the-bucket analogy you read in the poem. It was the first time I had heard it.

A short time after that, the father of one of my best friends reached into his wallet and extracted a copy of that very poem. He had printed a copy long ago. He said he carried it around as a reminder.

Though it may be impossible to become an indispensable man (or woman), there are certainly things you can do that will bring you as close as you can get in this life.

If you want to read about them, click the following link. By implementing the seven strategies discussed there, you will absolutely rise above 96% of your peers. But it will probably take practice.

Believe me, I know.

It’s never too soon to start:
