Create crisp, professional images for free

Graphics are an effective way to communicate important information quickly.

I discovered a free graphics editing program that makes it easy to make crisp, professional looking graphics quickly. It’s called Canva, and you can download it here:

https://www.canva.com

It can be used to create business cards, book covers, posters, Facebook covers, Pinterest graphics, and most any other kind of graphic you can think of.

To show you how simple it is, I made an image using a photo from the NRC’s media gallery (which I’ve written about in a prior tip).

How did I do — is it worth sharing? Here’s the link to my graphic:

Maybe you can come up with some creative ideas of your own that can be used to generate interest in your own endeavors.

Because of rapidly advancing software capabilities, the old, complex processes that had to be mastered in order to let one’s creativity loose into the wild are being dissolved.

Now, it’s easier than ever to let your creativity flow. That’s a good thing. It means technological advancement is unleashing more creativity than at any prior point in history.

Creativity breeds innovation, and innovation…?

Wealth.

Rising tides lift all boats.
